Department of Technology & Information

Letter from Secretary Jarrett, CIO

Secretary Tom Jarrett CIO Tom Jarrett
In July 2001, Delaware's General Assembly and Governor formally established the Department of Technology and Information (DTI). DTI was given the responsibility to build a new organization with a true customer service culture and a spirit of collaboration that fosters centralized technology leadership statewide.

We have clearly established a new direction focusing on strong relationships with stakeholder groups and service-oriented leadership in technology. Nothing is more indicative of our success than the increasingly numerous and more complex technology projects underway within Delaware State government. All of us in DTI welcome the challenge of continuing current mission critical operations while simultaneously reengineering and creating new ways to bring technology to Delaware's citizens.

Please take a few minutes to explore our website, perhaps beginning with our Strategic Plan. Our Strategic Plan outlines our vision, mission and values, and allows us to chart a course for Delaware's technology future. We are committed to achieving "Excellence in Delaware State Government" and we welcome your participation and your comments.
