Parthiban Jayaraman -- Application Delivery Team Leader
What is "Application Delivery?"
The Application Delivery team provides leadership in applications standards, tools, and methodology and delivers applications-related services statewide. Our strategic leadership is apparent in such areas as Voice XML, Web Services, and Information Architecture, and in the development of the strategy and applications framework that will position us well for an agile, service oriented future. In addition to traditional application development and support services for many critical applications, this team also provides Release Management services for both DTI managed and co-located applications; yielding planned releases of defect free software for our customers. An additional service provided by the Application Delivery team is Business Requirements Analysis. We believe that offering this service enterprise-wide, and coupling it with Information Architecture's modeling of data and business functions, we contribute significantly to the development of high quality applications that meet or exceed the needs of the business. The Application Delivery team also has a critical role in the security of web applications and is instrumental in the implementation of state-of-the-art security appliances and Identity Access Management software solutions; allowing constituents, vendors, customers, and other governmental entities to safely conduct business with the State via the web.
