Organizational Change Management

Pamela Waters -- Change Management Team Leader

What is "Change Management?"

Change Management is the organized, systematic application of knowledge, tools, and resources of change that provide organizations with a key process to achieve their business strategy. In other words, Change Management is concerned with aiding organizations through transitions as they evolve and alter how they perform their daily business.
Change Management Standards

Goals & Objectives

To direct the development of the State's business reengineering plan and provide change management for all approved projects.
To develop standards and provide assistance for managing "change" in the State of Delaware.

Presentations

The State of Delaware has accepted the importance of change management as an integral part of project management. As a result, the state has an experienced Change Management Team that works on all major IT projects. Many times, the Change Management Team is called upon to collaborate with other entities and to share our Change Management knowledge, methodology, and tools. After such engagements, we post our presentations on the Office of Major Projects' website.
