Project Management

Li Wen Lin -- Project Management Team Leader

What is "Project Management?"

The past challenges that the State faced in managing the big projects have provided an opportunity to create a project management team. This is a fairly new concept in most States, though concepts of Project Management Offices (PMOs) have been tried many times in the past.

Project Management Team Services:

  • Development of major project plans.
  • Monitoring of the project plan and management of the resources (functional and technical).
  • Providing creative ideas for projects.
  • Writing project standards.
  • Providing risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Coordinating with Organizational Change Management for readiness, training, and communications.
  • Reporting to project executives and stakeholders.

Goals & Objectives

To develop project standards from development through post-implementation review and production system support.
To participate in selection, evaluation and recommendation of all major initiatives.
