Identity Access Management
Identity Access Management(IAM) is a tool that helps to make public facing systems more secure. Many state agencies already use the system to view paycheck information and this solution can be used for other state government systems. DTI is financially supporting IAM, freeing up financial resources within other agencies. DTI is purchasing the licenses as well as assuming the costs for migrating to the newest version of the product.
ServiceNow is a comprehensive IT services management tool that DTI has successfully piloted. Among its many modules are Help Desk, Accounts Payable, Service Catalogue, and Incident and Ticket Management. Nearly every state government organization can benefit from this tool. ServiceNow is being funded by DTI so that agencies statewide can leverage it. Implementation assistance also will be provided.
Salesforce is the leading Customer Relationship Management software on the market today. It is a SaaS (Software as a Service) solution that can be deployed quickly and easily since it requires no on premise equipment or software. It can be used for case management, customer information tracking, and many other solutions. DTI will provide licensing and assist with implementation.
PPS - Project Portfolio Systems
Project Portfolio Systems(PPS) is the software DTI has selected to provide uniformity in the way that agencies submit their requests for IT projects and services. DTI's Customer Engagement Specialists work with their assigned agencies to prepare these requests, referred to as Business Cases. As government financial resources are always limited, providing a consistent format for submitting requests ensures that all organizations' requests are viewed equally.
