The ERP Executive Sponsors have given their approval for the Payroll, Human Resources, Benefits, Time Administration System (PHRST), the Financial Management and Accounting System (FSF), and the Pension Administration System (CRIS) to be a part of the ERP Modernization initiative.
This initiative aims to identify a replacement system that is sustainable, aligned with industry best practices, and provides a more enhanced user experience.
With vendor support for the current software ending in the next 10 years, this project is crucial for the standardization of business processes and the reduction in the cost of ownership by using “Out of the Box” functionality. The project’s success relies on the extensive involvement of end-users and organizational change management.
This is a large undertaking that will impact the three branches of State government, all other State agencies, institutions of higher education, School Districts, Charter Schools as well as participating entities across each of the nine pension plans administered by Delaware Public Employees’ Retirement System (DPERS).
We recognize the need to improve the PHRST, FSF and Pensions systems to keep up with the latest technology trends and provide our employees with the necessary tools to streamline their work processes. Additionally, better access to data will enable us to make informed decisions and improve our overall productivity. The current systems in place are over 20 years old and do not integrate seamlessly with other applications in our environment.
