Enterprise Data Management

Jennifer Koester — Director

What is Enterprise Data Management?
The Enterprise Data Management team (EDM) provides data and business intelligence services statewide. EDM offers guidance and assistance for data sharing, integration, and conversion; data intelligence and reporting; location-based data analysis; public data consumption, and complex inter-agency data collection.

EDM supports the Open Data Portal (central location for publishing statewide public data), First Map Services (location and spatial intelligence), and the DE Integrated Data System (integrating data from several partner agencies for improved public services). EDM also works closely with customers, vendors, and state agencies to design and build new systems, perform data conversion from legacy systems, and troubleshoot data issues in production systems.

Mission Statement
EDM enables excellence for Delaware’s agencies by promoting reliable, consistent, and transparent state-level data for informed and impactful decision making.
