Stephanie Wingert — Director
The Major Projects Quarterly Review was established in 2011 to provide cross team/cross organizational project governance through DTI’s Project Management Team, led by the Chief Technology Officer and the CIO. Major projects are identified as part of the iTIC business case review process and are requested to participate in the quarterly review meetings based on size, budget, and/or complexity of change. The project manager, project team, agency IRMs, and sponsors are invited to attend as projects are reviewed in detail on the scope, budget, schedule, risks/issues, and post ‘go-live’ planning.
The review process provides the details on the project health and current overall status that is then captured in a dashboard format to the Governor. Projects that are indicated as YELLOW means the project is in trouble and indications are that it may not finish on schedule or within budget. Projects that are indicated as RED means the project is not going to finish on schedule or within budget.
