The Chief of Policy and Communications (CPC) is responsible for facilitating innovation, shaping governmental policy, developing communications and establishing recognizable, positive branding for DTI. As chief policy advisor to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) the CPC creates positive relationships with all customers from the Governor’s office/customer agencies, to the General Assembly, to the citizens of Delaware.
- In support of the CIO, the CPC provides oversight and direction for all communication activities with the media, General Assembly, customer agencies and the public.
- The CPC researches and manages issues of strategic importance to the Department as well as overseeing the design and content of DTI’s websites, and social media presence.
- The CPC is responsible for developing legislative proposals for the CIO and for consideration by the Governor’s office.
